Accessibility

The project seeks to reduce barriers and continuously improve access across devices and navigation methods.

Last updated: October 6, 2026.

Our commitment

The Lito Sousa Archive aims to be usable by as many people as possible across different devices and navigation methods. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of maintaining the project.

Practices used

  • semantic structure and organized headings;
  • a skip link to the main content;
  • keyboard navigation for controls and links;
  • visible focus indicators on interactive elements;
  • contrast designed for readability on the dark interface;
  • responsive layout for phones, tablets, and computers;
  • accessibility labels and attributes on relevant controls;
  • respect for reduced-motion preferences where supported.

Continuous improvement

The project does not claim formal certification against a specific accessibility standard. The goal is to review and improve the experience as barriers are identified.
