Privacy Policy
How the project handles information submitted by visitors and technical data needed to operate the archive.
1. About data processing
litosousa.com processes only the data needed to operate the Legacy Wall, receive messages, protect the website against abuse, and keep the archive running securely. For privacy matters, contact contato@litosousa.com.
2. Data that may be collected
Legacy Wall: name or nickname, optional location, tribute message, submission date, and technical information needed for security and spam prevention.
Contact: name, reply email, category, message content, submission date, and history needed to handle the request.
Technical data: hosting and security services may process IP address, browser, device, access logs, and technical security signals.
3. Public Legacy Wall
Tributes are moderated before publication. Once approved, the submitted name or nickname, optional location, message, and date may become publicly visible. Do not submit personal information you do not want published.
4. Purposes
- receive, moderate, and publish approved tributes;
- receive and respond to messages;
- prevent spam, fraud, and abuse;
- maintain security, stability, and technical operation;
- preserve records needed to administer the archive;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Personal data is not sold to advertisers or used to sell contact lists.
5. Technical services
The project uses third-party services required for operation, including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and administration), Resend (email), and Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-spam protection). Each provider may process technical data under its own policies and obligations.
6. APOIA.se
Financial support is processed externally by APOIA.se. litosousa.com does not receive or store card numbers, online-banking passwords, or payment credentials. Data processed during payment is governed by the platform used.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The website does not currently use behavioral advertising cookies. Necessary security, anti-spam, and administration features may use cookies or equivalent mechanisms. If audience-measurement tools or other technologies are added, this policy will be updated.
8. Retention and rights
Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described, archive continuity, moderation, support, and security. Where applicable, data subjects may request access, correction, updating, deletion, anonymization, or other rights provided by law.
Requests to remove a tribute or information associated with you may be sent to contato@litosousa.com with enough information to identify the record.
9. Security and external links
The project uses reasonable technical and administrative measures to reduce unauthorized access, although no internet-connected service can guarantee zero risk. External links are subject to the privacy practices of those services.
